सभी इंडोर खेलों में, लूडो खेलना मुझे ज्यादा पसंद है। यह एक बहुत ही प्रसिद्ध खेल है जिसे लगभग हर घर में खेला जाता है। यह खेल बहुत ही सस्ता और खेलने में बहुत आसान है। इस खेल को छोटे-बड़े सभी बहुत पसंद करते है। इस खेल को कम से कम दो लोग तथा ज्यादा से ज्यादा 4 लोग खेल सकते है। यह खेल दुसरे आउटडोर खेल की तरह जोखिम वाला नहीं है। इस खेल में किसी तरह की चोट की संभावना नहीं होती। इसमें एक गत्ते या प्लास्टिक का लूडो बोर्ड तथा 16 गोटियाँ, 1 पासा तथा एक डिब्बी होती है।
इस खेल को गोटियाँ तथा पासे की मदत से खेलते है। पासे में अधिकतम अंक 6 तथा न्युनतम अंक 1 होता है। पासे में पहले 6 या 1 अंक पाने वाला व्यक्ति पहले गोटी को आगे चलता है। लूडो में नीले, पीले, हरे और लाल रंग के चार घर बने होते है। इन चारों घरों में चार-चार गोटियाँ होती है। गोटियाँ भी नीले, पीले, हरे और लाल रंगों की होती है। इस प्रकार कुल 16 गोटियाँ होती है। लूडो बोर्ड में गोटियों के चलने लिए खाने बने होते है। इस खेल को खेलने के लिए पासे को डिब्बी में डालकर फेकना होता है।
खेल के शुरुआत में सभी गोटियाँ अपने घरों में होती है। पासे में जितना अंक आता है, खिलाडी को उतने खाने अपने गोटी को आगे चलना होता है। अपने गोटी को कटने से भी बचाना होता है। अगर किसी की गोटी कट गई तो वो गोटी वापस घर में चली जाती है। जिस खिलाडी के गोटी ज्यादा कटते है, उसकी जीतने की संभावना उतनी ही कम होती है। जो खिलाडी सबसे पहले अपने सभी गोटियों को फिनिश पॉइंट पर पहुचाता है, वो जीत जाता है।
