Simple speech on Independence day in English

Good morning to all the respected teachers and my dear friends. I wish you all a very Happy Independence Day. My name is Pankaj Tyagi and I study in class 6. Today is 15th August and this day is very important for all of us. Because on this day, on 15 August 1947, our country was liberated from British rule. Today I will say two words on Independence Day in front of you. It has been 73 years since our country became independent and today we are all living an independent life. But do you know how we got this freedom? Then we remember the names of all those great personalities who gave up everything for the freedom of the country.

I can say with a claim that there is hardly anyone present here who would not know Mahatma Gandhi. Who would not know Chandrashekhar Azad, who would not know Sukhdev, Rajguru, Bhagat Singh, Ashfaq Ulla Khan, Abul Kalam Azad? All these great personalities made their full contribution and sacrifice in the independence of the country. Thanks to this, we are taking the breath of freedom in our country today. Due to them, today we are taking the breath of freedom in our country. These great personalities live in our hearts, how can no one know them. Before independence, the people of India were oppressed very much. Our country was completely ruled by the British. The Indians were enslaved as well as animals.

Today's life is more than what it was before independence. All this is due to our freedom fighters. But even after 73 years of independence, we are not completely free. Even today, we are not free from the slavery of poverty, mischief, hatred, and discrimination. We need to fix our social system. And this is possible only when the education system in the country will be cured.

Because all things are related to education. If people are educated in the country, then their ability to think and understand will be more good and decent. And in this way gradually our social system will be fine, As a result, slavery, like poverty, mischief, concealment, and discrimination, will automatically end up with society itself. And the country will once again wield the flag of freedom all over the world. So with this, I will end my talk, Jai Hind Jai Bharat.
