- Production of solar energy: The rate at which the earth is getting energy, due to which the temperature of the earth is increasing wildly and which has created the problem of climate change.
- Plate Tectonics: The movement of tectonic plates over a period of millions of years organizes land and oceans to form new types of land formations, due to which problems like climate change are arising.
- Change in the Earth's Orbit: Due to the change in the Earth's orbit, the Earth is not getting enough sunlight, due to which problems like climate change are arising.
- Human activities: CO2 generated due to the combustion of fossil fuels, harmful gases generated by vehicles, continuous deforestation, and many unethical inhuman activities are causing climate change.
Effects of Climate Change:-
- Effect on Forests: Trees and plants absorb the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and produce more amount of oxygen. Due to this the amount of carbon oxide in our atmosphere is controlled. But due to continuous deforestation, the amount of oxygen in the atmosphere is decreasing and the amount of carbon oxide is increasing. Therefore a major cause of climate change is the cutting of trees.
- Impact on Polar Regions: The North and South poles of our planet are essential for controlling its climate. But the way the climate is changing. In such a situation, in the coming days, the existence of life here will end and whatever species of the animal resides here will be completely extinct.
- Impacts on Water: Climate change has completely affected the climate system. Due to this, things like frequent floods and sea storms are coming. Due to this, the lives of millions of people are being ruined and people are also dying. Therefore, if climate change is not stopped, then such frequent floods and sea storms will keep on coming and people will continue to die.
- Impact on Wildlife: There has been a decline in the numbers of various wild animals including tigers, African elephants, Asiatic rhinoceros, Adley penguins, and polar bears.
Measures to stop climate change:-
- To stop climate change education should start at a higher level.
- Government laws related to pollution should be implemented at the highest level. With the help of these laws, we can control climate change by making the environment pollution free.
- All refrigerators, freezers, and air conditioning units contain chemical refrigerants, which are hazardous to the environment. Therefore, alternatives should be explored.
